• Experience in a senior technical leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing methodologies and substrates with a specific focus on Point of Sale.

• Managing and scaling technical teams effectively.
• Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams/departments and drive them towards a common goal.

Leadership & Strategy:

• Develop and execute the technical roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the technical vision and strategy, ensuring the company stays ahead of technological trends and competitive pressures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with other executive leaders to ensure technology is leveraged effectively across the organization.

Team Management:

• Manage, mentor, and grow technical teams (industrial designers, draftspersons) ensuring a high-performance culture.
• Foster collaboration and communication between cross-functional teams (e.g., product, sales, operations).
• Oversee recruitment, performance reviews, and professional development of technical talent.

Technical Oversight:

• Oversee the technical design, research and development and implementation of technical systems, platforms or infrastructure projects.
• Ensure the architecture is scalable, secure, and cost-effective while meeting the needs of the business.
• Conduct technical risk assessments and create mitigation strategies.

 Innovation & R&D:

• Champion new technological innovations and ensure the company’s tech stack remains competitive.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies or methodologies that can drive business improvement or competitive advantage.

Process Improvement & Best Practices:

• Implement best practices and establish a strong engineering culture focused on quality, efficiency, and speed.
• Continuously improve development processes, tools, and workflows to increase productivity.
• Ensure proper documentation, testing, and code review processes are in place.

Budget & Resource Management:

• Manage the technology budget and resources to ensure optimal allocation and ensure the efficient use of assets.
• Oversee the use of software and platforms necessary for technical development and infrastructure needs.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Serve as the technical liaison between non-technical business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Report on technical progress, challenges, and opportunities to the executive team and board.

Compliance & Security:

• Ensure the company’s technology complies with relevant regulations and industry standards.

• Market related commensurate with qualifications and experience.
